“One month on, the emergency in Colombia is far from over. More than a million people are estimated to need humanitarian assistance.
“As the initial attention begins to fade, we must make sure that communities already facing poverty, conflict and displacement are not forgotten.
“Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have pledged £100,000 to our partners in Colombia, supporting families in Chocó and the wider Caritas Colombia response. Our local trusted Church partners were alongside these communities before the earthquake and will remain with them as families rebuild their homes, livelihoods and lives.”
