The Liverpool Fun Run is back for another year! Join us on Saturday 27 December 2025 to celebrate 41 years of festive fun.
Get ready for:
Exciting routes: Choose between a fully marshalled 3k or 5k route, starting and finishing on the Wavertree athletics track - perfect for chasing a personal best or enjoying a leisurely stroll.
Vibrant event village: Enjoy hot drinks, refreshments, face painting and live music.
Finisher's certificate: A token to celebrate your achievement.
Special guest: The event will be opened by our Christmas Fun Run ambassador and 2024 Children's Laureate, Frank Cottrell-Boyce.
Easy! You can sign up right now. By signing up in advance, you guarantee your spot for the event and can start fundraising straight away.
You can also register on the day. Registration opens at 10am, ready for an 11am start time.
Yes! You can still register on the day. Registration opens from 10am, with the fun run starting at 11am.
If you are registering on the day, please arrive in plenty of time to allow for queues at the registration desk, so you are ready and raring to go at the start line for 11am.
The Liverpool Fun Run will be taking place at Wavertree Athletics Centre, Wellington Road, Grant Avenue, Liverpool, L15 4LE.
The actual run will start and finish on the athletics track, with the route running through the neighbouring park.
There is free parking available at the sports park.
The nearest train station is Wavertree Technology Park.
The nearest bus stop is Southdale Road.
It's not mandatory to fundraise. However, we would be so grateful if you were able to gain sponsorship for taking part in the fun run, no matter how big or small.
The ticket price covers the running costs of the event, but the sponsorship you gain will help us to support the communities we serve even further.
You will be set up automatically with a fundraising page when you sign up. You can also download a sponsorship form to collect cash donations.
If you'd prefer not to fundraise, you can also make a donation when you sign up online, or on the day of the event.
