Welcome to Rwanda  in central Africa - a country full of natural beauty and home to the rare and famous mountain gorillas!

But there is also a lot of poverty in Rwanda and 4 in every 10 people live on less that 65p a day. That’s 65p to pay for food, clothes, school books… and everything else! Does that sound fair to you?

At CAFOD we believe that everybody has the right to a fair share of God’s world. Together with local groups, we help  orphaned children and children living in child headed households to learn, gain new skills and share similar  experiences with other children.
